Samsung Nexus became a long-expected phone since its unveiling in Hong Kong in October. It is the first smartphone to have the Ice Cream Sandwich operating system that will shape the course of 2012. Android 4.0 (so-called Ice Cream Sandwich)- is Google’s newest updated version of the entire operating system.
The Ice Cream Sandwich supposes a number of new features and combines a smartphone and a tablet interface where everything is going to be totally different: from widgets and screen blocking to the realization of multitasks and notifications. The Ice Cream Sandwich combines simplicity, elegance, and convenience.
Samsung Nexus continues the traditional table hold. Samsung equipped Nexus with a 1280*720 allowed screen, which is amazing with its ability to repro supersized smartphones with a 4.6’’ screen, but despite the size, a telephone is still slim and co-produces all the deepness of vibrant colors and pin-sharp details.
Samsung Nexus lines up with the extremely popular Galaxy S2 featuring the same Texas Instruments 1.2GHz processor, however, unlike the Galaxy S2 camera Nexus was downgraded to 5MP (and the in-front camera has 1.3MP). The shutter speed is almost instantaneous. As expected, the Galaxy Nexus captures 720p video that looks fantastic on its wide screen owing to an excellent frame rate, vibrant colors, and smooth cope when moving from light to dark. Interesting, it weighs 140 grams just like its main competitor iPhone 4S. It is surprising it doesn’t support a micro SD which is a strange miss by Samsung.
The details of the launch were not announced by Verizon
All New Design for Volkswagen Beetle 2022
After being Redesigned to New Design for Volkswagen Beetle 2022 is dubbed as more “manly” for its squarer lines, flatter rooftop, and enhanced hood than its “bug” predecessor. The car also features larger wheels, LED daytime running lights, and bi-xenon headlamps. The dashboard was also redesigned to provide a conventional position for driving.
Three engine options include a 2.5-liter five-cylinder, a 2.0-liter TDI, and a 2.0T with other options available in different regions.
Volkswagen expects to sell 50,000 or even 60,000 cars a year only in the U.S. The car is set to launch this fall. The public response has been positive with people taking to their social networks with flattering comments toward Volkswagen Beetle 2022. The car already made its TV debut back in 2010 on the “Oprah” show as a surprise.
The main task with VW Beetle was to make it more fun and cool. With its 200-hp power and turbocharged engine, VW Beetle 2022 boasts sporty and dynamic performance. Its new audio system was created in collaboration with giant guitar manufacturer Fender so that you could enjoy clear sound at any volume.
So what do you think about 21st Century Volkswagen Beetle?
BMW 6 Gained 2 More Doors
Unlike Audi A7 and Porsche Panamera, the new BMW Gran Coupe employs a trunk lid rather than a hatchback. Instead of demonstrating the latest technologies using the 6-series Gran Coupe, BMW fits its latest engines, cabin electronics, and driver assistance systems.
Supplied with a 3-liter inline six-cylinder engine and using BMW’s excellent direct injection, the first model to be on sale will be the 640i Gran Coupe. According to BMW, this version of the 6-series is able to hit 62 mph in 5.4 seconds owing to tweaked power and an eight-speed automatic transmission. As for the following, it is planned to be rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive V-8 versions with 650i designation. This version of Gran Coupe will get 62 mph in only 4.6 seconds due to its 445 horsepower.
BMW already presented a list of driver assistance features for the Gran Coupe: night vision with pedestrian detection, its new full-color head-up display, and LED headlights with adaptive cornering. Also just like in all BMW cars of the current generation, Gran Coupe will be supplied with the navigation system and cabin electronics, which include integrated Google local search and app integration through iPhone.
The production version of Gran Coupe will be on sale the next year, but it is expected to be showcased at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show in January.
Dell Quits Netbooks Production
Dell is longer interested in selling Netbooks-the category of 10-inch class laptops, which saw mild success a couple of years ago, and is now facing a serious existential crisis. Matthew Hutchison, director of Dell Global Consumer PR, said in a statement:
We sold through the Dell Mini some time ago. We’re committed to the highly portable space and have focused on delivering thin + Powerful solutions, for which we’ve seen strong success, particularly in our XPS line.” Dell Quits Netbooks.
According to Hutchinson Dell is now concentrating on its new products like the recently introduced XPS 14z and the XPS 15z. Netbooks appeared in 2008 and by August 2010 about 70 million Atom processors had shipped for small laptops.
But with the appearance of Apple’s iPad and later other tablets, by the second half of 2010 serious losses took place. And since then netbooks never got as called-for as it was before. So, Intel has moved on.
The chipmaker company directed its forces on ultrabooks, which offer portability that could compare with tablets but with much better performance.
